ChemInform Abstract

The tetrahedral Cu(I) silane (IVa) is obtained according to the scheme and characterized by NMR (31P, 29Si) data and X-ray structure analysis (space group Cc, Z=4). The Ag analogue (IVb) can be prepared in similar way. Both the products are the first neutral compounds with Cu-Si and Ag-Si bond.
