ChemInform Abstract: Five-Coordinate Compounds of Nickel(II) and Copper(II) with the Triamine Diimine Ligands 13-Imino-4,4,6,11,11-pentamethyl-3,7,10-triazatetradec-6-en-1-amine and 4,6,11-Triethyl-13-imino-4,11-dimethyl-3,7,10-triazapentadec-6-en-1-amine.
Abstract
Ni(II) dichloride (II) reacts with the tetraaza macrocycles (I) in the presence of ammonia (III) to give the Ni complexes (Va) of the noncyclic title ligands.
ChemInform Abstract
Ni(II) dichloride (II) reacts with the tetraaza macrocycles (I) in the presence of ammonia (III) to give the Ni complexes (Va) of the noncyclic title ligands. The analogous Cu(II) complexes (Vb) are formed from the Ni(II) complexes (Va) by metal-ion substitution. The compounds are characterized by IR and electronic spectra (for (Va) (R: Me) yield given in g; further yields not given).
