Abstract

shows that the molecular structure of Hg2I3+ is nearly identical in both solvents.

ChemInform Abstract

shows that the molecular structure of Hg2I3+ is nearly identical in both solvents. In both cases, a Hg-I-Hg angle of 89 ° is determined. The Hg(II) ion in the complex is most probably tetrahedrally coordinated by three DMSO or H2O molecules.
