ChemInform Abstract

The title compounds (III) prepared from (I) and (II) is converted into their derivatives (Va)-(Ve) according to the scheme. The new compounds are characterized by analysis, NMR, IR, and mass spectra. The strongly distorted, trigonal-bipyramidal structures of the parent compound (III) (space group Pbca, Z = 8) and their derivatives (Vc) ( P21/n, Z=4) and (Vd) (P1, Z=2) are determined by X-ray analysis.
