Abstract
The title compound has been prepared by reaction of UO2F2 with UF5 at 400 °C using a UF6-pressure of 3 atm over the UF5 melt to prevent its disproportionation.

The title compound has been prepared by reaction of UO2F2 with UF5 at 400 °C using a UF6-pressure of 3 atm over the UF5 melt to prevent its disproportionation. The chemical formula of the product is confirmed by chemical analysis and thermal decomposition. In addition, the product is characterized by XRD and IR spectroscopy.
