Abstract

Tl2O3 is anodically deposited on n-WSe2 electrodes from Tl2SO4 solution in the dark and under illumination.

ChemInform Abstract

Tl2O3 is anodically deposited on n-WSe2 electrodes from Tl2SO4 solution in the dark and under illumination. TEM and SEM results show that the deposition in the dark is very sensitive to surface imperfections (steps, dislocations), thus indicating clearly the distribution of such surface imperfections. The deposition under illumination occurs at both smooth Van der Waals and surface defects.
