ChemInform Abstract

With the view to obtaining inhibitors of phosphate-transfer catalyzing enzymes the title reaction of the triflates (I), (IV) and (VI) is investigated. The steric hindered triflates (Ia) react slowly within 32-40 h. In contrast the electron-deficient compounds (Ib)-(Id) show enhanced reactivity. The transformation of the tyrosyl peptides (IV) and (VI) to the products (V) and (VII), resp., occurs without detectable racemization.
