Abstract

Reaction of the title carbamate (I) with the alkenes (II), (IV), (V) and (X) leads to asymmetric induction at sulfur and carbon and the products (III), (VI) (no yields given) and (XI) are formed.

ChemInform Abstract

Reaction of the title carbamate (I) with the alkenes (II), (IV), (V) and (X) leads to asymmetric induction at sulfur and carbon and the products (III), (VI) (no yields given) and (XI) are formed. (VI) and (XI) are transformed to the allylic alcohols (IX) and (XII) with 91 and 100% e.e., respectively.
