Abstract

The disilanes (I) react with the isonitriles (II) in the presence of the Pd-catalyst (III), producing the N-substituted bis(silyl)imines (IV).

ChemInform Abstract

The disilanes (I) react with the isonitriles (II) in the presence of the Pd-catalyst (III), producing the N-substituted bis(silyl)imines (IV). The 1,2-disilacyclopentane (V) and the isonitrile (IIb) yield the imine (VI) which is reduced to give the aniline derivative (VII).
