Abstract

Alkoxycarbonylation of the pyridines (I), (IV), (VI), and the pyridazine (X) with the alkyl pyruvates (II) yields the corresponding esters as shown in the reaction scheme.

ChemInform Abstract

Alkoxycarbonylation of the pyridines (I), (IV), (VI), and the pyridazine (X) with the alkyl pyruvates (II) yields the corresponding esters as shown in the reaction scheme. Polysubstituted by-products are obtained from (IV) (R1: -CN) and (VI).
