ChemInform Abstract

The title compound has been obtained by a simple HCl treatment of cis-(Cr(NH3)4(H2O)2)(ClO4)3. (Cr(NH3)3(H2O)2Cl)Cl2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic system, space group Pnma, Z=4. The Cr atom is bonded to two H2O, three NH3 and one Cl in a distorted octahedral coordination having a trans chloro-aqua configuration.
