Abstract
The reaction of the metalated derivatives (I) with trihaloboranes yields the products (II) as well as (III) and (IV).

The reaction of the metalated derivatives (I) with trihaloboranes yields the products (II) as well as (III) and (IV). Under different reaction conditions the Compounds (V), (VI), and (VII) are obtained. (VIII) results as shown. The Compounds are characterized analytically and spectroscopically (′H, "B NMR and mass spectra). X-ray analyses are carried out for both Compounds (IV) (R: - H: space group P21/c with Z=2; R: - Ph: space group C2/c with Z=8).
