Abstract
The title compound (IV) is prepared via its potassium salt (III).

The title compound (IV) is prepared via its potassium salt (III). The derivatives (V)-(VII) of the title compound are prepared as well by reaction of the potassium salt (III) with hydroxylamine, semicarbazide or thiosemicarbazide. The thio derivative (VII) is obtained as a mixture of the syn- and anti-isomers.
