Electrochemical Studies on the Metal Complexes of Alizarin Fluorine Blue and Its 5-Sulphonated Analogue
Abstract
Polarographic, cyclic voltammetric and microcoulometric techniques have been used to study the electrochemical nature of the binary and ternary comlexes of Alizarin fluorine blue and its 5-sulphonated analogue. The conditional constants of certain metal complexes are evaluated and effort has been made to determine the exact compositions of these complexes. The pH-effect on the E1/2 and id are discussed.
