Aus Samen von Thevetia peruviana wurde ein Flavon isoliert, bei dem es sich um den bisher nicht bekannten Apigenin-5-methyläther handelt. Dieses „Thevetiaflavon”︁ ist in der Droge nicht mit Zuckern verknüpft, sondern liegt frei vor.

Abstract

The 5-Methylether of Apigenin

From the seeds of Thevetia peruviana a flavone has been isolated. It is the hitherto unknown 5-methylether of apigenin. This „thevetiaflavone”︁ occurs in the drug in free from and not as a glycoside.
