Abstract
Das Herbizid Isoproturon (CAS-Nr.: 34123-59-6, auch 3-p-Cumenyl-1,1-dimethylharnstoff) ist ein zugelassenes, systemisches Boden- und Blattherbizid, das selektiv in toleranten Kulturen (z. B. Weizen, Gerste, Roggen) eingesetzt wird und 1974 auf den Markt gelangte. Neben der Reinsubstanz ist es teilweise in verschiedenen Mischprodukten mit weiteren Herbiziden enthalten. Das Herbizid wirkt durch Inhibierung der Photosynthese (PS II). In Böden wird Isoproturon bei praxisüblichen Aufwandmengen weitgehend abgebaut. Mit Ausnahme von Pflanzen und Algen ist die toxische Wirkung auf Organismen gering.
