Summary

This chapter presents a series of case studies with multiple choice questions and answers on cancer survivorship and psychosocial issues in oncology. The first case study is about a 45-year-old male with stage III colorectal cancer. Other case studies include a 39-year-old man with esophageal adenocarcinoma is suffering from insomnia. Finally, the chapter discusses the case study of a 54-year-old widowed Japanese woman with metastasized ovarian cancer has been losing energy, feeling hopeless, losing interest in hobbies, reporting insomnia and anorexia, and wishing to “just go home and die.”
