Abstract

A significant proportion of cancer cases are likely to be attributable to the environment, especially when broadly interpreted to include lifestyle choices such as smoking and diet, as well as chemical exposures encountered in the workplace, air, water, or in our food. This entry briefly reviews risk analytic aspects of environmental carcinogenesis.
