(Ga26Si32C72H216⋅2 Li(C4H8O)4⋅0.5 C4H8O, Mr=4420.8 g mol−1). Crystal dimensions: 0.20×0.15×0.15 mm, monoclinic, space group P21/c, a=1806.5(3), b=3566.1(7), c=1903.5(2) pm, β=118.1(1)°, V=10.818(3) nm3, Z=2, ρcalcd=1.36 g cm3, μ=3.39 mm−1, F(000)=4496, 101 040 measured reflections in 2Θ=4.2–52° (±h±k±l), 21 018 (with F>4σ(F): 14 259) independent reflections, 979 parameters. R1=0.052, wR2=0.158 (all data), max. residual electron density 0.84 e Å−3. A disorder is observed in the Ga26 cluster: Ga2 unit ((Ga(8) and Ga(9)) and Ga(7) change positions with each other. The gallium sites were refined with an occupation factor of 0.5. The typical disorder of hypersilyl groups was taken into account as split Si sites only.
