Abstract

Monomers containing the trialkylamine acylimide moiety give polymer chemists the capability to prepare a large variety of unique, reactive polymers. Materials of this type have a large number of potential applications. The synthesis, chemical, and physical properties of several different types of ylids, commonly called aminimides, have been the subject of several reviews. Aminimide monomers and polymers have also received attention in reviews.
