EDITORIAL SYNOPSIS

This report analyses a series of 142 infants and children with intracranial tumours classified according to type and site of origin. Brief case reports illustrate some of the diagnostic difficulties and the outcome in each group provides a guide to prognosis. The experience gained is summarized in helpful observations and recommendations.
