Several errors are present in the above mentioned paper.1

On page 211, left column, paragraph 3, line 3, “MHC peptide complex” should be “MHC/peptide complex”. The correct sentence is printed below.

The TCR/CD3 complex delivers the first signal after its interaction with MHC/peptide complex on APC.

On page 213, right column, paragraph 2, line 15, “Peptide-25 TCR-Tg” should be “P25 TCR-Tg”. The correct sentence is printed below.

These results indicate that P25 TCR-Tg naive CD4+ T cells are not precommitted to differentiation towards Th1 before Peptide-25 stimulation and retain the potential to differentiate into both Th1 and Th2 lineages.

On page 215, Figure 3 legend, line 12, “CD4+-Vβ11+” should be “CD4+-Vβ11+.” The correct sentence is printed below.

Events shown are gated on live CD4+-Vβ11+ cells.

On page 220, left column, paragraph 3, line 7, “peptide MHC class II complex” should be “peptide/MHC class II complex”. The correct sentence is printed below.

We propose that direct interaction of the specific antigenic peptide/MHC class II complex and TCR may primarily influence the determination of naive CD4+ T cell fate in development towards the Th1 subset.
