The Best Reviewer Award has been established to honor our reviewers who made substantial contributions in support of Digestive Endoscopy. Last year, a total of 281 reviewers kindly reviewed manuscripts submitted to the journal, and the Editorial Board wishes to recognize eight of them for their work. We are bestowing this award on these individuals based on the following criteria:
  1. Invitation acceptance rate: 80% and over;
  2. Number of completed reviews (reviews and original articles): 5 reviews or more;
  3. Average scores for submitted comments (3-point scale): 3.0 points;
  4. Number of days from review assignment to completion: 14 days or less;
  5. The number of awardees: up to 10. If the number of reviewers meeting the criteria 1–4 comes to be less than 10, the prescribed standards may be adjusted.
