Decakis(μ₂-acetato-κ²O:O′)bis(μ₂-isopropoxy-κ²O:O)tetraisopropoxytetra-μ₃-oxo-tetratitaniumdizirconium

The title complex, [Ti₄Zr₂(C₂H₃O₂)₁₀(C₃H₇O)₆O₄], was prepared in supercritical CO₂. The molecule lies on a crystallographic inversion center. The metallic core contains two Zr atoms each coordinated by eight O atoms in a distorted square-antiprismatic geometry and four Ti atoms in distorted octahedral coordination geometries. The overall metallic core conformation can be described as `raft'-style since all six metal atoms and four bridging O atoms form an approximately planar arrangement. One of the unique terminal isopropoxide ligands is disordered over two sites with equal occupancies.
