Abstract

The title compound, [Cr(C6H5CF3)(CO)3], exhibits the three-legged piano-stool structure expected for a tri­carbonyl­metal complex with an η6-coordinated arene. The tri­fluoro­methyl functional group is tilted towards the Cr(CO)3 center.
