Abstract
The 1,10-phenanthroline heterocycle in the centrosymmetric four-molecule aggregate [Sn(C2O2Cl3)(C6H5)3(H2O)]2·2C12H8N2 interacts with the water molecule of the trans-C3SnO2 trigonal-bipyramidal aquacarboxylatotriorganotin molecule through the coordinated water molecule through hydrogen bonds [Owater⋯N = 2.755 (2) and 2.758 (2) Å].
