2,2-exo-3,5,6-Penta­bromo­bi­cyclo­heptane

The title compound, C₇H₇Br₅, consists of a norbornane skeleton composed of two five-membered rings in envelope conformations or a six-membered ring with five Br atoms held in a boat conformation by a bridging methyl­ene group. The repulsive interactions between the Br atoms affect the topology of the norbornane moieties.
