Abstract

Dipotassium dialuminium diantimonate, K2[Al2Sb2O7], crystallizes in the trigonal space group inline image. The structure is isotypic with K2Pb2Ge2O7 and consists of [Al2Sb2O7]2− layers containing Al3+ in a nearly regular tetrahedral and Sb3+ in a Ψ-tetrahedral environment of O ligands.
