The subsolidus equilibrium oxygen fugacities for the boundaries of the Fe3O4Fe2TiO4 stability field above 1000°C have been calculated from available data. A Frenkel point defect equilibrium model is described, which uniquely determines the single phase intrinsic oxygen fugacity, as a function of temperature, Ti content, and metal-oxygen stoichiometry.

Gleichgewichts-Sauerstoff-Fugazität in Titanferriten

Die Subsolidus-Gleichgewichts-Sauerstoff-Fugazitäten für die Grenzen des Fe3O4Fe2TiO4-Stabilitätsgebietes über 1000°C sind aus verfügbaren Daten berechnet worden. Ein Frenkel-Fehlstellen-Gleichgewichts-Modell wird beschrieben, das einheitlich die Sauerstoff-Fugazität der Reinen Einzelphasen als Funktion von Temperatur, Titangehalt und Metall-Sauerstoff-Stöchiometrie bestimmt.
