Die Verbindungen chemical structure image (x = 2–6) wurden durch Umaminierung aus Ti(NMe2)4 und den N-Heterocyclen chemical structure image dargestellt und analytisch sowie durch 1H-KMR- und IR-Spektren charakterisiert. Die thermische Zersetzung in den Reihen chemical structure image und chemical structure image wird in Abhängigkeit von x bzw. n untersucht. Die beobachteten Effekte lassen sich über die Raumbeanspruchung von R2N- und chemical structure image -Gruppen deuten. Nur die Piperidido-Gruppe (x = 5) erreicht die Schutzgruppenwirkung der Dialkylamido-Gruppen.

Preparation and Properties of Ti-substituted N-Heterocycles

The compounds chemical structure image (x = 2 to 6) have been prepared by transamination of Ti(NMe2)4 with the heterocyclic amines chemical structure image and have been characterised by elemental analyses and 1H NMR and IR spectroscopy. The dependence on both x and n of the thermal decomposition has been studied for the series chemical structure image and chemical structure image . The results can be interpreted in terms of the steric strain of the R2N and chemical structure image substituents. Apart from the piperidido groups none of the ligands exhibit protective group properties comparable to the R2N groups.
