Electronic Structure Engineering of RuNi Alloys Decrypts Hydrogen and Hydroxyl Active Site Separation and Enhancement for Efficient Alkaline Hydrogen Evolution (Small 7/2025)
Graphical Abstract
Alkaline Hydrogen Evolution
In article number 2406209, Xian Zhang, Feifei Jia, and co-workers successfully prepared RuNi alloys with OH* and H* separation properties by electrochemical deposition, which effectively avoids the encroachment and poisoning of H* active sites by OH* and thus improves the electrolytic water performance and long-term stability. This strategy will provide new ideas for electrochemical water splitting.
