Abstract

en

The effect of electron-phonon interaction on the optical conductivity γ(ω) of disordered alloys is investigated in the framework of coherent potential approximation. The formalism is used for the case in which the one-particle Hamiltonian includes thermal diagonal and compositional diagonal and off-diagonal disorder. The results of numerical calculations of γ(ω) are presented in the case of the model binary alloy AxB1–x for various temperatures.
