Bromine doped SnO2 coatings are prepared using spray pyrolysis technique. The absorption coefficient is calculated in the fundamental absorption region. The absorption coefficient data are analysed and interpreted in terms of direct and indirect allowed transitions. Solar spectrum transmittance, reflection coefficient, refractive index, and figure of merit are estimated.

Brom-dotierte SnO2 -überzüge werden mit Sprühpyrolyse hergestellt. Fur den Bereich der Grund-gitterabsorption wird der Absorptionskoeffizient berechnet. Die Werte des Absorptionskoeffizienten werden analysiert und mit direkten und indirekten erlaubten übergängen interpretiert. Transmittanz, Reflexionskoeffizient, Brechungsindex und Güte fur das Solarspektrum werden berechnet.
