Kubelka's method is used to record the diffuse absorption spectra of NH4Cl + TlCl mixed phosphors for various thallium concentrations. The absorption spectra so recorded are presented. The B and A bands of NH4Cl:Tl are obtained at 5.55 and 5.12 eV at room temperature (300 K). Rising the thallium content additional absorption bands appear which are attributed to dimers in D4h and C2v symmetries.

Kubelkas Methode wird benutzt, um die diffusen Absorptionsspektren von NH4Cl + TlCl-Mischphosphoren bei verschiedenen Thalliumkonzentrationen aufzunehmen. Die so gewonnenen Absorptionsspektren werden mitgeteilt. Die B- und A-Banden werden bei 5,55 und 5,12 eV und Zimmertemperatur (300 K) erhalten. Mit steigender Thalliumkonzentration treten zusätzliche Absorptionsbanden auf, die Dimeren mit D4h- und C2v-Symmetrie zugeordnet werden.
