Graphical Abstract

The main characteristics of BrS are the peculiar ECG pattern. The study suggests a cooperative activity of mutated genes, deregulated miRNAs and proteins in orchestrating transcriptional and post-translational events concurring in the development of the Brugada cardiac phenotype.
