Graphical Abstract

Polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes (POSS) are an attractive class of inorganic/organic hybrids for improving the thermal stability of polymers. On page 1503, Milan Marić and Faezeh Hajiali examine the nitroxide-mediated polymerization of methacrylate-functionalized POSS with bio-based alkyl C13-methacrylate using a minimal amount of acrylonitrile controlling comonomer to generate statistical, gradient, and block copolymers with different properties. High POSS content is expected to affect the thermal, physical, and rheological properties of the polymers. (DOI: 10.1002/pol.20200109)
