Abstract

Realtime simulation of stiff physical models of mechatronic systems within electronic control unit software functions poses amongst others the challenge to solve linear systems of equations with minimal comutational effort. For this, one key approach is exploiting the model structure. In this paper, Schur complement based reformulations are examined for a tailored exploitation of the sparsity of a pipe model on the level of linear equations. (© 2015 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
