Abstract
Ortho-, méta- and para-chloromethylstyrene were polymerized and their 1H NMR and 13C NMR spectra were studied. The knowledge of the chemical shifts, especially those in 13C NMR, allows the analysis of poly(o--chloromethylstyrene-co-m--chloromethylstyrene) and of a Merrifield-type resin which was prepared by a terpolymerization reaction of styrene, chloromethylstyrene and divinylbenzene.
