Synthesis of N-substituted α-aminoacids from 4-hydroxycoumarin
Abstract
A new series, the N-(methylene-4-oxocoumarinyl)aminoacids were synthesized by condensation of 4-hydroxycoumarin with α-aminoacids in the presence of excess ethyl orthoformate.
