ABSTRACT
This case study presents the diagnosis and management of an abdominal ectopic pregnancy following in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer (IVF-ET). The patient initially experienced atypical symptoms. Elevated serum β-hCG levels and comprehensive imaging eventually confirmed the diagnosis of abdominal ectopic pregnancy. Timely laparoscopic surgery was performed, effectively managing this rare and potentially life-threatening condition. This case underscores the importance of thorough follow-up and advanced imaging techniques in the early detection and treatment of ectopic pregnancies, particularly in the context of assisted reproductive technologies.
