JOHN R. MOORE
Mr. Moore is President of Autonetics, a Division of North American Aviation, Inc., Downey, Calif., and this year's recipient of the Thurlow Award for “the outstanding contribution to the science of navigation” during 1961. “Challenges of Navigation” was the principal address during the banquet which closed The Institute's 18th Annual Meeting June 18–20 at the El Cortez Hotel in San Diego, Calif.
