ChemInform Abstract: Copper-Catalyzed Synthesis of N-Aryl and N-Sulfonyl Indoles from 2-Vinylanilines with O₂ as Terminal Oxidant and TEMPO as Cocatalyst.

Whereas N-aryl and N-sulfonyl 2-vinyl aniline derivatives form the desired products in moderate to high yields, primary and N-alkyl 2-vinyl aniline analogues are unreactive.
