ChemInform Abstract

The structures of the antiinflammatory marine metabolites halipeptin A and B, assumed to contain an oxazetidine ring as the heterocyclic portion, are revised to (Ia) and (Ib) which contain a thiazoline unit. Additionally, a new minor component halipeptin C (II) is identified.
