ChemInform Abstract

TiO2 and SrTiO3 codoped with Sb and Cr show intense absorption bands in the visible light region. They are new visible-light-driven photocatalysts for O2 evolution from an aqueous AgNO3 solution and for H2 evolution from an aqueous MeOH solution, respectively. The activity of TiO2 codoped with Sb and Cr is remarkably higher than that of TiO2 doped with Cr only.
