ChemInform Abstract

The synthesis of the title alkaloid is based on the formation of the quinoline moiety by treatment of keto alkyne (II) with a titanium—nitrogen complex, generated in situ from Ti(O-iPr)4, Li, TmsCl, and nitrogen gas.
