ChemInform Abstract
A potent agent (V) against Gram-negative bacteria is created and compared with other derivatives and the lead structure (VI). It shows good membrane permeability. Tether length significantly influences the desired activity; the best results can be achieved by two-carbon bridging. The fluoro substituent is less important in contrast to earlier reported studies.
