ChemInform Abstract

Treatment of the silane (II) with Cp2ZrCl2 gives a zirconium—silene complex which reacts with arylalkynes to afford silazirconacyclopentenes. After hydrolysis or treatment with electrophiles, vinylsilanes are available. The silanes (VIII) can be transformed into the cyclic derivatives (IX). Starting from dialkylalkynes, allylsilanes are obtained.
