ChemInform Abstract

A new family of C2-symmetric bisphosphinites (I), (II) and (III) is synthesized and their inducing effect in the asymmetric allylic substitution reaction of (I) is investigated. The highest e.e. of 86% is achieved by employing ligand (Ia).
