ChemInform Abstract

The carbonyl chromium complexes (I) and (IV) react with terminal alkynes substituted by bulky substituents to give low yields of dihydroazepinyl derivatives. When the reaction is carried out in pyridine, these compounds are immediately further transformed to pyrrolidines [cf. (VIII)].
