ChemInform Abstract

The synthesis and biological characterization of SQBAzide (VIII), a novel photoreactive derivative of the TXA2 receptor antagonist SQ31.491, is reported. The compound specifically inhibits human platelet aggregation mediated by TXA2 receptor activation and irreversibly labels platelet TXA2 receptors upon exposure to ultraviolet light.
